Since 1989 the GEMMFor monitors the health state of several forest areas in the Czech republic. Within the framework of this extensive research program a phytocenological inventarisation in the area of Brdy Mts. Has been carried out. In this report the results of this inventorisation are presented, also is tried to lay relations between the vegetation and other factors. In thsi report is being discussed which kinds of damages to the forest occur in Brdy Mts. And how this can be related to the results of the phytocenological research.
